For the second time in less than a week, a Mississippi law enforcement officer’s life was saved by his ballistic-resistant vest when shot at during a traffic stop. As the Monroe County Deputy approached a motorcycle, the sole occupant began shooting at the officer. A bullet struck the deputy in the vest and knocked him to the ground.
