Three Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, police officers are recovering after being shot while attempting to serve an arrest warrant on Wednesday morning. At approximately 6:30 a.m. Wednesday morning, a team of Philadelphia SWAT officers were attempting to serve an arrest warrant on an individual wanted on homicide charges. The suspect opened fire on police, striking three officers – one in his leg, the second in his hip, and the third officer was struck in the chest, but the round was stopped by his ballistic-resistant vest.
